I thought it would be an idea to make a list of our 'recommended systems' (ie from the stuff we sell) because we all know that SYNERGY is everything, this is complete tosh of course because what we are looking for is not some mythical alchemy but technical compatibility.
I thought in the traditional manner I would start with a fairly inexpensive set-up and then progress into more and more expensive equipment because everyone knows the more expensive the better, right?
Well no actually, wrong, in terms of electronics a higher price generally buys you a smarter box and possibly some useful extra features but not actual improved sound quality.
System number one ( hasn't been released quite yet but let's not that become an obstacle.
ASCILAB ( Acoustical Science Laboratories ) new S6B loudspeaker.
The S6B uses a full complement of Purifi drivers ( Purifi are expensive but they have pushed back the boundaries of driver design) the SB6 uses one Purifi 6.5" aluminium woofer, one 1.3" Aluminium tweeter, this is Purifi's newly released PTT tweeter and two Purifi 6.5' passive radiators.

Measurements for this speaker are out of this world, insanely good because the first purchase Ascilabs made was a Klippel NFS (Near Field System) $150k's worth.

What these measurements actually mean is that the S6B is going to be neutral, totally transparent it is not going to add colouration of its own.
Add a powerful and transparent amplifier, enter Frederic Jacquot's 'BOXEM' amplifiers which are based around Purifi's ( yes the same Purifi ) Eigentakt technology who are the only manufacturer to have built a mathematically exact model for self oscillating amplifiers.
Frederic's engineering and build quality is the best around, and they are available in really nice colours.

You will need to add a source of course and I would recommend Eversolo's DMP-A6 streamer, Eversolo make more expensive models but the A6 is already audibly transparent and you cant get better sound quality than that, at the beginning if you remember I mentioned more expensive case work well ...

We include cables which are the finest you can buy, fit for purpose pro audio Mogami XLRs,
balanced XLR is just better in every respect than old fashioned RCA/Phono.
System 2:-
Moving up in price ( current ) RRP is a shade under £13k a pair inc vat, an absolutely superb loudspeaker that will be all 'most' listeners will ever require, Dutch&Dutch's 8C.

Well thats it, you don't need anything else apart from a Spotify or Roon subscription, sorry.
I know difficult to get excited about a system that is only a pair of loudspeakers, but hey ho, if you just want to listen to the finest sound reproduction available these could be for you.
If on the other hand you prefer to believe the endless audiophile component marketing BS well these probably aren't for you.
System 3:-
I mentioned that the 8Cs would be suitable for 'most' people, if you aren't 'most' and really want to go all out, which in audio terms means completely full-range ( 20Hz -20kHz) and unlimited sound pressure levels ( deafeningly , literally deafeningly loud in a very short space of time) then you might consider Sigberg Audio's 'MANTA'.
The Manta are a four way design with a co-axial mid/tweeter a 12" (yes twelve inch) dedicated mid bass and as many D10 Sigberg subwoofers as you deem adequate, I have two here but can easily imagine that two more might be even better.
They are simply a loudspeaker without constraint, they really rock, really.

The Mantas will require a source and again I would recommend the Eversolo A-6 ( you cant buy anything better at any price not even a £300k DCS or the Wadax abomination)
The cables we include and with the tens of pounds saved subscribe to Quboz, the world's music at the touch of a button and Roon too if you can because its the best and most reliable playback software I have used.
All three systems are completely bullshit free, they will not be improved by adding:-
Fancy mains cable, mains conditioner, mains regenerator, audiophile fuses ( honestly is there no limit to gullibility) oh wait yes of course there is 'grounding boxes' and the new favourite ethernet switches.
What really will improve your sound quality is one of these,

A microphone and download REW ( room EQ wizard) measurement software, its the cat's pyjamas of software.
If you buy a system from us we install, acoustically measure and implement the requisite filters that allow you to listen to completely full-range sound without BOOM.
Purité Audio London, we have the best stuff.
